The new castmates

So, who are the new cast members? Meet Maria Valaskatzis, Mbali Ngiba and Slindile Wendy Ndlovu, and they’ll be joining returning cast members, Annie Mthembu, Jojo Robinson, Nonku Williams and Sorisha Naidoo.

Maria is a television presenter, producer and writer. She is the director of media and communications agency MV Consulting and is the co-owner of video production company VKATZPK Media. Slindile is a human resource consultant, with experience in events management, and Mbali is a musician, actress and the co-founder of African Centric Designs.

The new additions hope that their presence in the show will not only provide them with new opportunities but assist in their self-growth and inspire many women who watch The Real Housewives of Durban. “The Real Housewives of Durban is such an amazing platform, where women can showcase their personalities and talents,” says Maria, adding “The decision to join is also rooted in my activism for women empowerment and mental health. So I believe that by having this cohesion with the other six ladies, we can definitely use this platform to make change and inspire other women.”
