Lankai's absence drives Aal into a state of depression and a life of drugs. Saul however resurfaces and makes attempts to save his brother from destroying his own self.

Aal goes snooping for information about Lankai and manages to work up Nina who sees his desperation and tries to help. All of Aal's efforts are thwarted as Ahmed shows up and gets him to leave

Fearing getting herself and Van into trouble with the law, Michaela goes to the police and opens up about the schemes they set in motion to bring Lankai down. She gets a scolding form the police chief.

While lamenting her relationship with Aal to Saul. Betty is asked to take things easy and clear her head. Saul also informs Aal that Betty wants to spend time with both of them before making her choice.
