Sipho Hotstix Mabuse on matriculating at 60

They have been through a lot, from Lona moving in with Sipho's family and not being liked despite her efforts, the bev situation and falling pregnant but they have remained in love through it all. After the family accepted her, Sipho decided that he really doesn't want to lose her and she said yes to marrying him.

Sipho. being nervous about the baby on the way has made him act out of character and denying the fact that he knew that Lona is pregnant. He goes further and gets angry at her while finding it hard to answer her mother's questions about when he'll marry her.

Sipho decided to surprise Lona for her birthday with a cute day out with the family but the fact that she's pregnant quickly becomes the topic which ribs him the wrong way because now his aunt and mom see it as a problem that requires a lot and forces them to accept her but all he wants is some peace even if it's for one day.

After raising her suspicions that Lona is pregnant, Sipho's mother was proven right after she took a test and it came back positive. This was met with some mixed feelings especially because Sipho had planned to marry her after nine months and didn't think they would be planning for a baby instead.
