He finally confronts Tina, and when he tells her he is falling in love with her, she responds by saying thank you. This causes him to retreat, and he avoids her. This sends Tina into a tailspin as she is not liking the lack of attention. She wastes no time confronting him and explains why she has been detached. She has a lot on her plate, and society does not like older women dating younger men. With all that to consider, she decides that she wants Ra as her man and wants to tell her family about it.

Nkanyamba visits Seipati and informs her that Mandlakhe needs a new home. He warns her she cannot think she will go free after what happened with Gagashe. She tells him that she is not and will never be involved with witchcraft.
