Lindiwe has been noticeably happy and lighter recently, leaving everyone wondering what changed or who is responsible for it. After opening up to Vero and then to Andile, it's decided that they invite him over but the man being Bangizwe shocks them and Andile is not here for it.

Seipati talks with Mantoa about the problems in Mantoa's marriage. She asks why she is being used as a pawn to keep Mohau. She is very upset as she feels that things that brought her a lot of pain are being used as weapons. Mantoa flips the script, denies everything and goes on to expose Mohau and Mpumi being in love. This gets Mandla's attention, who proceeds to beat Mohau for his actions with his daughter.

Mpumi bids her family farewell as she heads to New York. NJ is not convinced by Puleng's story that Papi has left. He is on a quest to find his father. Mandla arrives shortly after, and Puleng tells him he needs to marry Seipati to ensure they can get what belongs to them since Papi's death has thrown a spanner in the works.

Dimpho asked for a meeting with Tshepi and Keneilwe to properly check her out and what she sees doesn't make her happy, but Tshepi is too far gone and determined to convince her that she's happy.
