Zola refuses to give up on his love for Kefilwe even after Mbulelo came back to his senses and apologised for all that he's done and asks to be forgiven and given another chance. After Zola shoots his shot, Kefilwe kisses him back but later regrets it, only for Mbulelo to not reciprocate her energy as well.

Mbulelo has decided that it's time he came to his senses when it comes to his marriage with Kefilwe. He asked the family to come together in order to apologise to her for his behaviour in front of everyone and at the end she ends up agreeing to come back home, much to Zola's annoyance.

Right after she has just given birth to their son, Imani finds out that Mbulelo is paying lobola for Kefilwe and begs him not to marry her. Zola and Kefilwe share a kiss after he confesses his love for her.

Mabusi excitedly shows her son to Zodwa and they bond over that moment.
