Idols SA host and Co-Executive producer, ProVerb is a living, breathing example of how to buck convention by slaying in several lanes and exploiting all your innate endowments to the full.
His effortless charm and bright smile is not all there is to this entertainment mogul. After starting out as a recording artist in 2005, ProVerb has not only put-out thought-provoking art, but also left an indelible mark with his social responsibility initiatives.

Nowadays however, he’s carving out a niche for himself as one of South Africa’s most dynamic and endearing hosts taking centre-stage for some of the nation’s biggest TV productions like The Miss South Africa pageant and of course, Idols which, in our totally unbiased opinion, we’re sure holds a special place in his heart.

His unique ability to be sharp, quick-witted and sarcastic while still maintaining a genuine warmness toward everyone he engages with is one of the reasons we aren’t surprised he scooped the Favourite Presenter Award at the YOU Spectacular in 2017.

That sharp intellect is also the reason he’s recently studied Property Development and Investment at the University of Cape Town and a course in Tax Law! Yes, remember what we said at the onset? Don’t believe the crowd speak, you can master several trades.

This season, Pro’s hoping to break all sorts of records again and change lives by taking talented youngsters and turning them into successful musicians.
