Representing Tsakane in Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Sandile knows the meaning of hard work. He’s already attempted a master's degree and he's currently a Research Scientist in addition to studying for his post-graduate certificate in Education. He believes this is the right time to take on Idols.

One thing that brings me luck: I think it's praying about that stressful event. After praying, I feel confident and believe in myself because of the God in me.
One interesting fact that may surprise you: I never wear matching socks ? ?! Whenever I do my laundry, I wash all of them at the same time (over 10 pairs). I randomly put them on the washing line regardless of the color, then when I take them off the washing line I don't pair them in terms of similarity. Too much work!
