There is no denying that Shaka iLembe cast are giving on and off-screen.✨ The plethora of trailers has left audiences begging for more. The anticipation for the 18 June premiere on Mzansi Magic is only growing.

While we all wait, there is at least social media to placate interest. We take a deep dive. πŸ‘Š

Queen Nandi, Shaka’s mother, played by the talented Nomzamo Mbatha, gave everyone a good look at the King Shaka airport in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Clearly moved, she wrote on Instagram: β€œSome moments make you look up to the sky and wink to the heavens. Because surely … goodness and mercy follows you.” Mbatha is also one of the executive producers on Shaka iLembe. πŸ‘

The dashing Lemogang Tsipa plays the protagonist everyone is waiting to see: the adult Shaka. A man of few words on social media, because some things need no words; he simply captions a post of his as: β€œZulu eliphezulu.” πŸ‘Œ

Senzo Radebe takes on the role of Senzangakhona. Never one to mince his words, he tweets: β€œHistory describes King Senzangakhona as a very handsome man.” 😎

β€œI am very excited and emotional when I think about the journey I have travelled with you Sthuli Sika Ndaba, I am honoured to have been your vessel,” writes actor Dawn Thandeka King on Instagram. 😍 She plays Mkabayi.

Khabonina Qubeka plays Ntombazi. She tastefully teases to the show. And yes, winter is coming, but there’ll be a bounty this year. 🌾

Dingiswayo, played by the fetching Thembinkosi Mthembu shows how grateful he is to be a part of Shaka iLembe. 😊
