The mother of the bride, the father of the bride and bridezilla, you decide which is which

It’s only right to start at the head of the table and acknowledge how stunning the judges looked. Mother of the bride title was fitting for Thembi in her white long dress finished with a sparkly head piece. JR was the toned down but very present in a suit and shirt father figure, while the feather and trail drama was brought to you by Somizi.

The step was executed

The night got off on the right foot with the iconic Malaika’s ‘Mmatswale’ because nothing says Mzansi wedding more. It set the mood just right, leaving the judges wanting more and it only got better with each result that Proverb announced. The contestants proved that they are still very much determined to fight for their place.

To complete the night, Thabo walked away with a highly requested ‘Wuuu shem’.

Farewell Lungile

Unfortunately, as we get closer to crowning the winner we also lose talented singers along the way. Viewers have the last say and sadly after her ‘Mina Nawe’ performance in the Top 10, it was time for her to hang her mic.

But, the love came pouring in.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. It’s A-game or nothing at all from now on.
