There are several reasons why you should tune in on 30 September 2023 at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic, channel 161.

We break them down:

To celebrate the nominees

Are you a film and television buff? Would you like to see if your favourite show or movie will win big at this year’s awards? Then tune in to watch the awards and be the first to know if your favourite movie, series, or soap won big at this year’s awards!

The fashion

Fashionistas rejoice! There are few other opportunities to be surrounded by fashion than at a red-carpet event. You can celebrate the local designers who make sure your fave celeb always looks their best and you’ll get a sneak peek as to what will be in vogue in the coming months.

The presenters

This year’s main award show hosts are none other than Lawrence Maleka and Zozibini Tunzi: Both names need no introduction. Lawrence is an acclaimed actor known for his roles on Isibaya and The River and was also the co-host for major TV shows like Big Brother Africa and Big Brother Mzansi, among others and Zozibini Tunzi is a former Miss South Africa and Miss Universe.

The musical performances

While nothing is known about the musical performances set to delight viewers this year, one can be sure to be wowed – who knows, there just might be an unexpected collab that will set social media alight.
