We’ve seen the Housemates experience a whole range of emotions this season and one of them was loneliness.
This week Biggie tried to curb that by playing the top five videos from their loved ones, for some of the Housemates this cheered them up, it had some in tears and had others feeling extremely low, even in the days that would follow. It helped them to remember why they were in the House and motivated them to finish strong and to keep their heads in the game. We have seen the focus on how they are diligently preparing for their Wager Task and not relaxing because it is the last week.
When the House was full it was easy for the Housemates to distract themselves, they’d find themselves in conversation with different people and they’d formed relationships and friendships in the House which are no longer there. Mpho told Biggie that to some level she feels as though they are still holding a Men's Conference with how the other four Housemates communicate and we can only imagine how she must miss having other women in the House.
There was a gossip corner, a smoking crew, and just the group we knew would always break out into song. We have to admit that we even miss the noise around the House and the different characters that we fondly got to know over nine weeks. We have now watched Tulz smoke by himself in the evenings, with no one to talk to while he smokes, we are pretty sure he misses Sis Tamara.
Things have gotten quiet around the House and Housemates are even sleeping earlier than usual. Less people in the House has meant more time alone with their thoughts.
