Day 26: Nthabii's kitchen fail– BBMzansi

News
17 February 2022
Yesterday Big Brother Mzansi’s Nthabii made waves on the Twitter streets and it wasn’t because of her dramatic words or actions. Twitterville had a lot to say about her unconventional way of preparing boerewors.
Nthabii cooking

If you recall clearly, when the student athlete came into the House she proudly told Big Brother Mzansi’s host, Lawrence Maleka that she knows her way around the kitchen. Nthabii’s cooking skills were put to the test yesterday when it was her turn to prepare a meal for her fellow Housemates.

The viewers were glued to their screens as she navigated her way around the kitchen. Nthabii decided to treat the House to some pap and boerewors. If you live in Mzansi, you will know that pap and boerewors is one of Mzansi's favourite staple dishes and should one decide to prepare this, then the person really needs to be prepared to pull out all the stops.

The viewers were waiting on Nthabii to channel her inner Zola Nene. Things didn’t go as anticipated. It seemed Nthabii should have gotten instructions on how to prepare this meal. Big Brother Mzansi’s viewers were left shocked after they watched her in action as she prepared the meal. Nthabii's boerewors looked nothing like the one that people are used to. It seemed she had her own unique way of preparing the boerewors. Nthabii first cooked the boerewors, and when it was fully cooked she then shocked everyone when she added uncooked potatoes and water into the mixture. The mixture in the pot looked quite confusing and nothing like what people were expecting.

Viewers took to the streets of Twitter and made known exactly how they felt about Nthabii’s cooking. Let’s take a stroll down the Twitter streets and have a look at some of the reactions that stood out on our timeline.

Thapelo was left unimpressed and wanted to know what exactly  Nthabii was cooking. He further commented that the Big Brother Mzansi Housemate was cooking wors the same way one would cook mogodu.

Lovy simply called Nthabii’s creation a "pandemic of its own" and didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Bathokozile said the Housemates should keep Nthabii far away from the pots.

Pedi woman with some powers was more concerned about the pap. She said it looked all sorts of wrong.

MaZwide advised that Mphowabadimo should give Nthabii cooking tips while they are still in the House.

Grace found herself laughing and mentioned that she and Nthabii are in the same WhatApp group. Apparently, she's just as bad when it comes to the pots.

Thankyou asked former South African Finance Minister Tito Mboweni to come fetch his “daughter”. He said the former minister’s cooking skills are contagious.

Miss B, just like Pedi woman, was worried about the pap. She said that Nthabii has been busy with it for the last three hours and just when you think she’s done, she keeps adding mealie meal.

From where the viewers were standing, it seems Venus was not the only one who had an epic kitchen fail after her amagwinya backfired on her. Nthabii joins Venus and so far, it looks like they are neck and neck.
