Some of our favourite #IsithembisoMzansi couples have called it quits.
Isithembiso breakups

February is the month of love, but some of our #IsithembisoMzansi couples are breathing through the wound. Love is showing them flames!

First it was Tiro and Sne, then Kero and Vivian, Nhlamulo and Palesa and now Chunks and Karlujah! Here’s how our couples have found themselves in splitsville.

Tiro and Sne:

When Tiro got a once in a lifetime job offer in Belgium after struggling to find a job locally, he turned down the offer and chose to stay with Sne and her son Nhlanhla. Filled with guilt, Sne confessed to cheating on Tiro with Professor Jele. Heartbroken and confused, Tiro called and asked for the job back. He left for home, before jetting off to Belgium within a few days later, and he didn’t even say goodbye to Sne.

Kero and Vivian:

The stress of the Ramokgopa saga weighed heavily on Vivian, especially since she felt totally responsible for it and Kero made sure he made her feel guilty about it at every chance. Sadly, she lost the baby the night Kero was busy with the heist, alongside Banzi and the rest of the gang. Vivian turned to Diamond for comfort and it all came crashing when Kero found out what happened.

Nhlamulo and Palesa:

When Nhlamulo refused to help Palesa with organizing and paying for the student’s accommodation, using the money donated by Banzi, Cheez stepped in to help. This infuriated Nhlamulo and Cheez used this to get closer to Palesa. A fight between the two guys led to a huge argument between Palesa and Nhlamulo, and they later called it quits.

Chunks and Karlujah:

Karlujah realized he was tired of having meaningless relationships and decided he was ready to take his relationship with Chunks to another level. Everything was set, a romantic dinner, the proposal ring… But Chunks was just not ready for marriage. Filled with disappointment, Karlujah called off the relationship, leaving Chunks devastated.

It’s often said you either win or lose in the game of love. Can our faves ever get back to how things were before?
