The Sya Mosha housemates have had moments where they failed to work together as a team and ended up losing tasks and challenges. This happens when the housemates fail to understand each other's perspectives while preparing for tasks, which often leads to tension and conflict among the housemates.

In line with the theme of the week, Together We Stand/ Teamwork/ One Team, One Dream, we have decided to take a look at the moments when a lack of teamwork and collaboration cost the housemates a couple of wins and created chaos.

The first wager

Although it's not surprising that the housemates lost their first wager, there were whispers that PapaGhost entirely dominated the preparation for the wager and offered his housemates very little opportunity to make important contributions, resulting in their wager loss.

This was revealed on the second live show, when McJunior and Pale verified Lawrence Maleka's assertion that they, like the other housemates, had conversations where they claimed that PapaGhost was too strong and did not allow for collaboration.

On Valentine's Day, Biggie put the housemates to work in a bid to show love to one another with a high tea event. Though the housemates worked together, the event itself was nothing to write home about. With the housemates telling Biggie in their diary sessions that they felt bored while at the event and believed more could have been done. Els complained to Biggie about the male housemates not collaborating to do more and make the female housemates feel special. Jareed, Young Pappi and Zee also echoed Els' opinion about the event while speaking to Biggie.

The steak incident

During health week, housemates went vegan, and this proved to be a difficult task for most of them as they could not imagine a week without meat. However, Biggie made a juicy offer to them when he presented them with a plate of steak before their wager presentation.

This offer, however, came with a few conditions, and these were: if one housemate ate the steak, the wager would move from 80% to 90%, and if more than one housemate ate the steak, their wager would move from 80% to 100%.

The housemates, unfortunately, could not agree to refuse Biggie's temptation, which led to Lerato Modise having a go at the steak and sharing it with Yolanda. Their act put the house at risk of losing 100% of their wager, but luck smiled on them because Biggie was pleased with their wager therefore making them free of all the previously stated conditions.

During the week of love, the housemates were paired and given songs to perform as their wager presentation to win their wager. The housemates quickly went to work, but it was obvious that some of the housemates had not learned to put teamwork first, as Biggie called this out during their presentation.

He mentioned that the performances lacked creativity and, to some extent, looked gimmicky, and therefore ruled that they had lost their wager. Biggie's thoughts were also echoed by a few housemates, such as Willy and Young Pappi, who called out some of the poor performances of their fellow housemates.

It will be interesting to see how the week's theme will help grow the spirit of teamwork amongst the housemates and improve their overall performance in future tasks.
