How to get upsized as DStv customer

From 10 November, all active decoder subscribers on DStv Family, Access, Compact and Compact Plus will also automatically get their subscription “upsized”.

This means that if you are a DStv Family or Access subscriber, your package will be upsized to Compact, and if you’re on Compact or Compact Plus, you’ll be upsized to Premium. All you need is to have an active decoder subscription between 10 November and 31 December. If you sign up or reconnect during that time, your subscription will also automatically be upsized.

How to get upsized:

• The first step is to stay connected. If you are an active Family and Access decoder subscriber, you will be upsized to Compact. Similarly, if you are a Compact Plus or Compact decoder subscriber, you will automatically be upsized to Premium.
• The upsize promotion runs from 00:01 Monday, 10 November, to 23:59 Wednesday, 31 December 2025.
• Upsized channels are only available on your decoder, not when streaming.
• The upsize channels will not be available on Catch Up.
• If you’re using a PVR, you will be able to record the channels on the upsized package.

What do Premium customers get?  

Our Premium customers can enjoy another two streams from 1 November until the end of December. This means that you and your family members can stream on four different devices, anywhere you go, until 31 December. More screens, more entertainment, more reasons to celebrate.
