The journey sounded like a daunting experience but only having to be at their in-laws for 21 days made it sound like it was going to be bearable. What happened next is not what any of the makotis expected or hoped for and yet they stuck it out in the name of love, but leaving came with it's own set of drama from every household.

Another disagreement occurs when Sophie doesn't keep her word to her mother-in-law about cooking before she leaves. She then resorts to calling Jabu to ask her to do it for her but of course she says no and drops the call on her.

Shaun has come to the conclusion of proposing to Pinky since she's been a champ while going through the 21 days at his home, but this announcement doesn't sit well with her sisters because they believe he should start by talking to the elders about lobola before talking to them about a proposal.

Fifi sneaked out of her in-laws' house to go and work with her man at their event, only to come back to a number of chores waiting for her. She rubs Linda's mother and sister the wrong way when she responds and acts in an appropriate way when they show her the ropes.

Pinky has been begging for a night out but her mother-in-law wasn't about it but she decided to go anyway. She unfortunately finds her and Shaun's aunt waiting with chores in mind when she gets back home in the morning.

It has been a tricky time but Wendy and Lorraine are now preparing themselves along with their friends for their trip to Mozambique. They get together to breakdown the ground rules of the trip and fix all that they do not agree on.

Sophie did the worst thing she could've done in Jabu's eyes by inviting her friends over. After receiving the go-ahead from Prince's other sister to invite her friends, she goes ahead but that leads to a blow up with Jabu and her friends about having alcohol in the house especially.

When Fifi's father-in-law allowed her to leave the house with Shaun, she got into trouble when she came back but cooking up a delicious storm for the family got her back into their good books, even though her mother-in-law didn't want to admit.

It has been a painful journey for Wendy since her accident which led to making the decision of amputating her leg. She sits down with her brother and talks about everything she used to do before and how she had to adjust to her new way of life.

Pinky and Shaun's mother are not agreeing on anything so far. The mother-in-law thinks she's stubborn and won't be told what to do while Pinky maintains that she's dramatic over everything she does so needless to say it will be a long journey.

It's time for the potential makotis to enter the in-laws' homes and it's not the best one for Sophie. While Prince's mother welcomes and accepts her, his sister Jabu has a problem with what she's wearing and welcomes her with a bunch of rules and what's expected of her.
