Everyone's favourite family returns Thursday 25 January for another exciting season of Uthando neS'thembu. Marking its seventh season, the Mseleku's continue to share their story of family struggles and triumphs.

Season 7 promises a great mix of family, culture, and the individual journeys of the wives, each following their unique path. The heart of the series lives on with the continuation of family meetings, a cornerstone of the Mseleku family's decision-making process.

Mzansi Magic viewers will witness Musa's pursuit of legacy and preparation for his children's future. Musa yearns for what he’s being denied, will he choose peace? MaCele, in need of personal peace and balance, steps back from her matriarchal duties, while MaYeni focuses on her own healing, children, and nurturing her relationship with Musa. MaKhumalo begins her path of self-improvement and business ventures, striving to mend ties with her sister wives in hopes to heal their relationships. MaNgwabe, steadfast in her beliefs, dedicates herself to her children's upbringing.

This season also sees Mseleku’s wives wrangle their children and trying to lead them on the right path, based on their own individualistic personal beliefs. MaCele is at odds with her husband over how he chooses to raise and lead his sons and is trying to free them from his “clutches”. MaYeni is left shook by Mpumelelo’s decisions and way of life.  MaKhumalo is trying her best to help Mpilo become an independent young woman. MaNgwabe is pleasantly surprised by her daughter’s initiative to join and start a journey of purity, and MaKhumalo lends a helping hand.

Mseleku helps Mpumelelo and Lwandle on their spiritual calling. Mseleku wants Sne to do better. Sne, known for being troublesome, is tired of being the perceived black sheep of the family and is trying to head in a positive direction.

Join us in exploring the harmony of modernity and tradition, the significance of sisterhood in polygamy, and the complexities of parenting in a polygamous family.
