The Ghost is back! Former Big Brother Mzansi housemate Themba Broly is letting the public back into his life as he tries to navigate and unravel the complexities of his life in season 2 of Themba: My Inked Life, premiering on Thursday 9 May on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161.
For Themba, this season of the show is all about redemption. He is looking to become a better and present parent, to finally fulfill his career goals, to make things right with family, and to reconnect with those he considers his real friends.
Many things have unfolded in Themba’s life since the cameras went off on season 1. While some of the events took place on camera, like Themba standing up Mpho and not pitching up at what was supposed to be their first cover shoot; to him constantly being late for all his meetings … one can safely assume that the relationship was going nowhere fast.
Now in this brand new season, a lot has changed! Firstly, Themba has a lot of fixing to do, and he is the first to admit it. And first on the list, is Big Brother Mzansi S3 winner and former girlfriend (and baby mama) Mpho Wabadimo. He has a lot of apologising to do and making up for past transgressions that left Mpho heartbroken and being a single mother to their son. Will this revive their relationship or is that door closed for good?
Moreover, this season will see him trying to revive his dream of going into business and also getting his music career to take off. Hopefully, he has learnt some valuable lessons and is well on his way to making better choices when it comes to friends and possible business partners.
And … it’s a case of the ex on another reality show that is returning to Mzansi Magic channel 161 in May. I’m with Your Ex will premiere season 2 on Sunday 5 May, with host Eugene Khoza assisting those who found love with their friends or family members’ former lovers by revealing, 'I'm with your ex!'.
Previously the show has seen sisters face off because the other fell for the other’s ex-fiancé and also friends almost jeopardising their friendship for the same. Themba: My Inked World – A Redemption Song premieres on Mzansi Magic channel 161 on Thursday 9 May at 20:00 and tune in to the new season of I’m With Your Ex from Sunday 5 May at 19:30 to see who will be risking it all for love.
