Sunday Night Movie
There’s a mixed bag of movies on offer this month, including action, drama, and romance. But we’re most excited about the Sunday night movie double bill on the 18th featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and followed by Guy Ritchie’s latest film, The Gentlemen. With a cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell, Henry Golding, and Hugh Grant, this one’s not to be missed.

Shocktober
It’s October, which means it’s Halloween time and time for a month filled with frightening films. M-Net Movies is bringing back its annual fright fest, Shocktober, with scary movies playing Mondays to Thursdays at 20:00 on M-Net Movies 2 and every Tuesday at 20:00 on M-Net Movies 3. On Halloween night, Saturday 31 October, M-Net Movies 2 will showcase local horror film, Pinky Pinky. Switch off your phone, lock the front door, pull up your feet, and prepare to be petrified.

The Curse of La Llorona

M-Net Movies Collection Pop-Up Channel
It’s also time for another pop-up channel! From 23 October until 22 November film fans can step into myriad movie universes. If you’re a fantasy lover, M-Net Movies Collection (which will be available on DStv channel 111) has The Hobbit trilogy lined up. Action fans can join Ethan Hunt on impossible missions. Adventure seekers can go treasure-hunting with Indiana Jones. Kids can laugh along with the minions and the dastardly but loveable Gru. And there’s so much more to look forward to!
