News01 March 2019
Our movie musts this March.
Billboard 1600 x 640

It’s already the third month of the year, which means winter is coming and the school holidays are around the corner. With that in mind, let’s look at what’s coming up this March to fuel our movie obsession. We’ve made our picks for the month. What would you recommend?

M-Net Movies Premiere

We recommend: It’s so difficult to pick just one movie from this fantastic line-up! But this month, it’s about the mini movie fans and their favourites. But if we were in charge of the remote, it would be a tough to pick between our literary heroes Paddington and Peter Rabbit.

Check out who’s joining them on channel 104.

M-Net Movies Smile

We recommend: Baywatch. If you grew up in the ‘90s, this comedy will take you tripping down nostalgia lane. And, of course, there are just as many beaches and bods to ogle at.

Check out what else will make you smile on channel 105.

M-Net Movies Action+

We recommend: American Assassin. Because assassins make cool characters, and we’re Michael Keaton fans (although the jury’s still out on whether he’s the best Batman).

Get your action kicks on channel 106.

M-Net Movies Action

We recommend: This is also a tough one. We love martial arts movies, so a Mortal Kombat double bill sounds awesome, but we also love a good heist movie. Ocean’s Eleven is still the best of the Ocean's trilogy, but we’ve got all three lined up, so watch and pick your favourite.

If you’re a Bourne fan, we’ve also got the first four movies lined up for you.

M-Net Movies All Stars

We recommend: The Space Between Us. If you’re not a science fiction fan, you may want to skip this and opt for the comedies on offer. But we enjoy sci-fi, especially because The Space Between Us features the story of a boy born on Mars. Does that make him human, or Martian? Or both? Watch and find out.

Here’s what else is coming up on channel 111.

Along with a little something for the school holidays:

M-Net Movies Zone

We recommend: Changing Lanes. Because Samuel L. Jackson! But it’s more than just Mr. Jackson being awesome. Changing Lanes is a well-crafted thriller with solid performances from both leads – and it’s directed by a South African.

Extra! Extra!

None of these movies bowl you over? We’ve still got the best sports movies until 10 March on M-Net Movies Game On pop-up channel.

Once that closes, we’ve got M-Net Movies EPIC pop-up channel right around the bend bringing you the greatest cinematic battles.

Check it out!
