Red is back and he's brought his trusty list of the world's most dangerous criminals with him. The Blacklist is returning for its tenth season tonight, Wednesday 11 October, at 21:00 and this will be its grand finale after a decade of thrilling action.
With a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the show has been a hit with reviewers and audiences, and Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) has become a legendary character in his own right. Now, viewers will get a satisfying ending to this intricate crime thriller that’s been entertaining us since 2013.
In this final season, Red's secret identity as an FBI informant has been exposed, and he's now a target of both the criminals he betrayed and the FBI itself. But Red's not going down without a fight. He's got his trusty sidekick Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq), the Task Force, and a few new friends by his side.
Red and the Task Force will face off against a new breed of Blacklisters, including a former associate who's out for revenge, a tech mogul with a dangerous new weapon, and a group of criminals who are using social media to manipulate the world.
But the biggest threat to Red and the Task Force may be Congressman Arthur Hudson (Toby Leonard Moore), who's launched an investigation into the Task Force's unauthorised operations. Hudson is determined to shut down the Task Force and take down Red once and for all.
They’ll have to use all their skills and resources to stay one step ahead of Hudson and the Blacklisters. But will it be enough? Or will Red finally meet his match?
