Why this 'bromance' makes our hearts skip a beat.
Jumanji TNL 3

Kevin Hart and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s on-screen chemistry is palpable; we take a look at the times they’ve shared the screen and made us laugh or our hearts melt.

So how did these two stars meet? They allegedly met at an award ceremony years ago and hit it off but had long wanted to work with each other. Dwayne has been quoted in past interviews saying Kevin is one of his best friends. This duo even has nicknames for each other, DJ for Dwayne and 'Snack-sized-Denzel' for Kevin.

It is no wonder why they make magic when they work together, here are the times they've teamed up to make us laugh:

Central Intelligence (2016)

This was their first comic offering and work together, a full-blown buddy flick. The pair play two old high school classmates who go on the run after one of them joins the CIA to save the world from a terrorist who intends to sell satellite codes. Their off-screen chemistry lends a hand to giving this movie its charm.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (2017)

A sequel to Robin Williams' 1995 fantasy adventure, Jumanji: The Next Level became one of 2017's most successful blockbuster movies. As usual, the audience is left to enjoy their 'bromance' more than the storyline itself, which seems to be the selling point in most of their films.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Kevin makes a cameo appearance in this film which stars Jason Statham and Dwayne as leads. His appearance doesn't contribute much to the actual story, but a little comic relief.

Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)

With the previous film being a box office hit, this sequel was an obvious success which saw both films gross about $2 billion.

Johnson returns as video game avatar Xander Bravestone and Hart is Franklin "Mouse" Finbar, while Danny Glover and Danny DeVito are new additions to the cast line-up.

We can't wait to hear what's next for this unlikely comic duo on screen and behind the scenes. Word on the street is, there are calls for them to star in a remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito's 1988 Twins buddy film.
