NCIS returns for its 20th season. Throughout the years the show has given viewers hardcore cases, adrenaline-filled chases, and epic twists. Here’s a peek at what we can expect in season 20 of this phenomenal procedural drama.
The producers have said that the audience will get to see more of the characters’ private lives. As big fans of the franchise, we know that we have each developed a relationship with its characters and love digging deeper into their lives.
Avid fans were gutted when the beloved Detective Gibbs (Nick Harmon) left the show after 19 seasons, and while he won’t be making a return most of the other cast favourites return for season 20. Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) takes on the lead role upon Gibbs’s departure.
Detective Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) goes undercover as a prison cellmate to investigate a planned terrorist attack. This one is a must-see. We think orange looks good on him, but to be honest what doesn’t?
Romance is on the cards. Special Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) and Dr Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) shared a kiss in the season 19 finale. Season 20 is said to explore their relationship a little more.
