Here’s why we love Lively!

She’s the star of this week’s M-Net Sunday night movie, The Rhythm Section, and while we’ve watched Blake Lively take on many kinds of roles, we haven’t seen her do action very often. We can’t wait to see what she brings to the spy game, because we just adore this actress. Here are a few reasons why.

Her Career
She came to audiences's attention playing Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but really cemented her success with her leading role in Gossip Girl. Since then she’s impressed with her performances in The Town and The Age of Adeline, faced deadly danger in The Shallows, and been a deadly danger in A Simple Favor. Many may see Green Lantern as a blemish on her résumé, but without it we wouldn’t have the supremely awesome power couple that is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

She’s Relationship Goals
The pair met while filming Green Lantern and were married in 2012. They’ve since had three children, all while successfully juggling their careers and poking fun at each other on social media.

She’s Funny
As her good-natured ribbing reveals, Lively lives up to her name.

She’s a Foodie

If you can relate to this post, you’re a foodie too. Along with her food porn snaps, Lively has also attended a workshop at the prestigious culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, baked a cake on The Martha Stewart Show, and showed off her puff pastry recipe for Vogue.

Her Style
As mentioned in the video above, she doesn’t have a stylist. She picks clothes herself and it’s no wonder. She has an incredible eye and always looks gorgeous. And of course she’s also killed it at the Met Gala, year on year.
