Offering Sex and the City-style comic insights into the dating lives of five single New York women, the narrator (Lily Collins) is writing a book on how women around the world should manage their singlehood status. As she embarks on a global research tour, she soon finds herself involved in an international affair, while her four friends fend for themselves on the New York dating scene.
