Kate Winslet’s Mare of Easttown and Bryan Cranston’s Your Honor take a grittier look at crime dramas, and Baghdad Central takes us back in time to The Green Zone in Iran for international shenanigans.

Series back & better than ever

Profiler and creepy killer series Prodigal Son is back, but if you’re looking for a family who’re a lot lighter and less twisted than the Whitlys, the Pearsons are back with a brand-new season of This Is Us, too, as are the Coopers in Young Sheldon. And for sci-fi fans, April is awesome thanks to new seasons of The Twilight Zone and La Porta Rossa.

The nature of things

With Earth Day on 22 April, it’s the perfect month to focus on the beauty and wonder of nature, and what we can do for our planet. Boost your mind and body

April puts us at one third of the way through 2021. It’s the perfect time to take a breath and to refocus on mind and body health. Enjoy some science-based documentaries about how to boost your immune system, embrace mindfulness and nature at the same time, get fit at home, and boost your mental health.
