Festive films & series on DStv Premium this December

The stars are aligned as DStv kicks off the final month of the year with a table spread full of treats for the whole family. Choose whatever you want to watch together, and choose joy.

There are brand-new local films filled with familiar stars to make you feel at home including June van Merch in Nativi(ity), Zandile Lujabe in Season's Feelings, and Juliette Pauling in Eve's Christmas. And DStv’s grown-up movies are silly, fun thrill rides from the Mel Gibson “Santa Action” flick Fatman, to the Wonder Woman sequel movie WW84 and Guy Ritchie heist movie Wrath of Man. That’s just the ticket if Die Hard is your favourite Christmas movie. The stocking is stuffed for the little ones, too, with new Scooby-Doo and Teen Titans movies they can enjoy with the “big kid” cartoon and fantasy lovers in your family.

The festive theme continues with a new season of the ultimate family Christmas sitcom, The Moodys. But if you’d prefer to sit down with grandma for some tea and cyanide, there’s also a new season of The Bay, and new crime thrillers, The Pembrokeshire Murders (based on a true story) and Lie With Me. And if you’d like to watch some people all squished together and trying to get along, there’s the brand-new Survivor Australia season 8 and a new season of Alaskan Bush People, too.
