Reality entertainment on DStv, 5-11 November

If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen because the knives (forks and whisks) are out in this week’s DStv reality series.

Put on your best bib and tucker because it’s time for a brand new season of Come Dine With Me South Africa with picky guests, huge personalities and drunken shenanigans over the dinner table. And get the holiday spirit moving with a brand new season of Holiday Baking Championships on the Food Network (DStv channel 175). It’s pure inspiration for making your own family treats.

Then tackling a home renovation and moving into a new house can be stressful, but home experts Jon and Mary form Two Steps Home make it easy as they step in to help homeowners get those tasks done.

And don’t forget a new week means a brand new episode of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC Brit (DStv channel 120). Prepare to see those celebs dazzle as they put their best foot forward...and back...and shake it all about.

Fierce competition and renovation

Come Dine With Me South Africa S7

In each episode of this competitive dining series, 4 amateur chefs take turns hosting a dinner party at their own home for the other 3, and the best host wins money. Casting started in May 2021 in Johannesburg and Cape Town, so this season is as fresh as a salad.
