While grownups are swept up in their Valentine’s Day haze, this February DStv is all about what kids love, whether that’s seeing Daddy Pig fall in the mud in Peppa Pig, dinosaurs that eat people in Jurassic World: Rebirth, or solving problems with talking blue van Mojo Swoptops and his mechanic best buddy, Bo.

Mojo Swoptops

In a world of talking machines and their human friends, Mojo Swoptops the blue truck and his best buddy, Bo the human mechanic, love to help their friends in the little town of Swoppiton. And they can do it all thanks to Mojo’s ability to change by swapping his top to become anything from a helicopter to a crane, and Bo’s creative thinking. The series comes from the team behind Numberblocks and Alphablocks.

Ariel

Ariel (voiced by Mykal-Michelle Harris), the little mermaid, and her friends go on adventures through the ocean, help their fellow sea creatures, and discover a magical new undersea world. With Taye Diggs voicing Ariel’s father King Triton, and Amber Riley voicing Triton’s younger sister, Ursula the sea witch. The new season starts with Ariel exploring the magical Crystal World.

Peppa Pig

Peppa, an outgoing young pig in her preschool years, learns something new every day and has a lot of fun with her family and friends in these quick and cheerful five-minute episodes. This season, we’ll see Peppa make a new friend at school, join in a class dance party, visit the Great Barrier Reef in Mummy Kangaroo’s submarine, and have a good laugh when the grown-ups get stuck in the equipment at the soft play centre.

Super Duper Bunny League

Six bunny superhero friends – Stumpy the stretchy leader, Derek who’s simply massive, smart Dr Annabelle, the silent but deadly Midnight “Middy” Bun Bun, electrokinetic first officer Bex, and the strong and handsome Steve, who can fly – defend the world from their archnemesis, Dr Francis Fuzzleglove and his league of villains in this animated action comedy. The new season starts with a haunted house encounter before the bunnies go treasure hunting with pirates.

Baking Championship: Next Gen

For the first time ever, 12 teams of young siblings, aged 8-14, compete for $25 000 and the title of Baking Champions in Baking Championship: Next Gen. The teams tackle tricky challenges like Breakfast Dessert Imposters, Cream Puff Friendship Bracelets, and Animated Cakes. Pastry master Duff Goldman and Southern baker Kardea Brown serve as hosts, judges, and mentors in this jam-packed journey of baking, bonding, and sibling rivalry.

How to Train Your Dragon

This live-action film takes us back to the beginning of the How to Train Your Dragon saga. On the rugged isle of Berk, Hiccup (Mason Thames), the inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler), defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons and challenges the foundations of Viking society. Nominated for the 2026 Annie Award for Best Character Animation – Live Action.

Join the surreal misadventures of two best friends – Mordecai the blue jay and Rigby the raccoon – as they liven up their mundane jobs as groundskeepers at the local park, where they work with a yeti, a green-skinned man, and a small ghost. Their capers include meeting Father Time after Mordecai accidentally kills Rigby, trying to dodge their boss’s new surveillance system, and trying to beat the world record on an arcade game.

It’s Pokémon’s 30th birthday! And as a double treat, kids can watch two epic films: Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, in which Ash, Pikachu, and their friends visit a desert city by the sea and meet the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa. And Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, in which Ash becomes bonded to the mythical Pokémon Volcanion after it crashes down from the sky.

Critter Fixers

100 miles south of Atlanta, lifelong friends Dr Hodges and Dr Ferguson own and operate Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital. Together with their loving staff, they treat and care for over 20 000 patients, from massive draft horses to tiny kittens who’ve been trapped under a hot car. This season, we’ll meet a goat with bloat, a turtle who’s infected with vampire worms, and a cockatiel battling with a ruptured egg. We’ll also see them meet with a young cancer patient who wants to grow up to be a vet.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

Five years after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion, Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend), a ParkerGenix pharmaceutical exec, hires former special forces operative Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and her friend Duncan Kinkaid (Mahershala Ali) to provide transport and security for paleontologist Dr Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), a former student of Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill), on a mission to visit Île Saint-Hubert, where he must gather dino DNA from three colossal creatures – Mosasaurus, Titanosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus.
