Beyonce unveils 'Renaissance' album tracklist

It's been six years since Beyoncé gave the world a solo album.

For some perspective, that is the longest time Beyoncé has taken between studio albums since she began her solo recording career back in 2002. But breaking several records with her critically lauded 2016 album, Lemonade, Bey seemed to retreat into a creative space that came with much rest. Between then and now, she still stayed on the radar. Love is Everything is 2018's highly hyped joint album with her husband Jay Z. She also curated The Gift, the soundtrack for The Lion King movie, on 2019. 

And yet, the arrival of Renaissance on 29 July, will mark what many see as the Queen's highly anticipated return to the dancefloors. 

So on Wednesday, fans got a glimpse of what this new disco-themed era has got to after. So far, the lead single 'Break My Soul' has been serving house music, and 1980s disco-pop realness. And if the tracklist is anything to go by, fans are getting ready for a dive into a joyous world of dance.
