He's being touted as King of the New York rap scene. And Pop Smoke's second posthumous is the way soon. The late rapper's team have revealed that the project is slated for release on July 16th. The date would have marked the drill icon's 22nd birthday. The 17-track tape will follow hot on the heels of the Brooklyn native's 2020 blockbuster posthumous debut 'Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon. Although release dates were paired with a trailer, the album's title is yet to be told.

Pop Smoke passed away on February 2020 at the age of 20. A number of new songs have since been released since his passing, all leading up to the release of critically accalimed debut album. The music continued aftwarward, as both Migos and Polo G's new album feature Pop Smoke as a guest. He also appears on a song called Lane Switcha, a collaborative joint with Pop Smoke, Skepta, A$AP Rocky, Juicy J, and Project Pat.

Executive produced by 50 Cent, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon spawned six bangers. The Woo, Mood Swings and For the Night all reached the Top 2- on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart, giving Pop Smoke his first number one.
