Mega Movie Madness
We’re going big in November on M-Net Movies Smile and M-Net Movies Action+. Whether it’s big comedy, OTT romance, spectacular drama, or mega-action blockbusters, we’ve got them ready to propel you into silly season.

M-Net Movies Premiere
Ladies are doing it for themselves this month (and every month, really). In Widows, four women plan to pull off the heist their husbands couldn’t; while in Colette – which is based on a true story – a young woman is pressed to write novels under her husband’s name.

Watch Widows on Saturday 2 November at 21:45.
Watch Colette on Monday 11 November at 20:00.

As Emma Thompson fans, we’re super excited about Last Christmas. Starring alongside Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding, Thompson features in this festive film for which she also co-wrote the screenplay with Bryony Kimmings. Last Christmas is due for cinematic release in December, but you can prep by watching Thompson in The Children Act, a flimic adaptation of Ian McEwan's novel.

Watch The Children Act on Saturday 2 November at 20:00.

M. Night Shyamalan completes his Eastrail 177 Trilogy with Glass, reuniting Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, who starred together in the first part, Unbreakable, and adding James McAvoy, who starred in the second part, Split.

Watch Glass on Sunday 17 November at 21:00 on M-Net or on M-Net Movies Premiere on Saturday 23 November at 20:00.

There’s also family fun with Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne in Instant Family, while Claire Foy brings the thrills as Stieg Larsson’s famous character Lisbeth Salander, in The Girl in the Spider’s Web.

Watch The Girl in the Spider's Web on Saturday 30 November at 20:30.

M-Net Movies Action
We recommend: The Dark Knight. Everyone’s talking about Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker in Joker, currently on circuit; so it’s a good time to revisit Heath Ledger’s legendary performance of this infamous character in The Dark Knight. Besides which, it’s a totally awesome Batman instalment, featuring Christian Bale’s wonderfully complex Bruce Wayne, Christopher Nolan’s astounding practical effects soaring to new heights, and the undoing of Harvey Dent.

M-Net Movies All Stars
We recommend: Van Wilder: Party Liaison. We’re all about Ryan Reynolds at the moment. Then again, when are we not? But with his popular Aviation gin getting lips wet and tongues wagging, and a new baby with Blake Lively just introduced to the world, it’s a great time to celebrate all the Ryan love with this early, comedic turn from the coolest Canadian ever.

M-Net Movies Night Out
Chadwick Boseman hangs up his panther claws to play an NYPD detective in 21 Bridges, this month’s feature at our exclusive screening. If you want to join us at M-Net Movies Night Out, make sure you enter now.
