You may be as devastated as we are to hear that Suits is going on hiatus until next year. Especially after how the last episode ended!

I suppose you could say it was to be expected. Of all the jams that Mike and Harvey have found themselves in, none could be jammier than Mike getting arrested for fraud. And just when he had decided to leave his fraudulent ways behind.

It obviously wasnโ€™t a decision Mike came to easily. After his conversations with Claire and Trevor, he was well and truly on the fence. All it would take was a little nudge (Ok, maybe not so little) from his childhood priest.

Enter Father Sam.

The scenes with Father Sam and Mike were some of the most emotionally charged of the season while the flashbacks to Mikeโ€™s childhood gave us further insight into how he developed his victim complex, always blaming others for his own problems. Father Sam was having none of it and put a spotlight on Mikeโ€™s flaws that couldnโ€™t be ignored.

So, just when he comes to terms with reality, has a personal growth spurt and finds some inner peace, here come the Feds to slap on the prison-issue bracelets.

But who turned Mike in to the Feds? There are any number of people who know his secret now and, knowing how the writers like to play with out emotions, itโ€™s likely to be someone less sinister than initially imagined.

The other question is, how is Harvey going to save him? Especially considering the fact that he now has to step down from his position at Pearson Spectre Litt and all of the power that comes with that.

Speaking of Harvey, flashback sequences seemed to abound in this episode for the two main protagonists. Harveyโ€™s own insecurities stemming from his motherโ€™s infidelity played a large role in his own decision to step down. But it was his guilt at abandoning his broken family when they needed him most that seemed to be the thing really eating at him.

Having dealt with that issue, one wonders if his sessions with Dr. Agard are over or whether weโ€™ll see the wily therapist again when the season recommences next year? Weโ€™d love to see more scenes with her and Donna.
