In case you’ve missed it, the Bhadmus family is back with more drama and shady business dealings. More than the juicy storyline, what caught our eye is that this season is mysteriously titled 'The Final Showdown’, which has us wondering if this is the final season?

First episode

If you haven't started on the first episode, buckle up! We're about to spoil it for you:

• From the opening scene, we are greeted by drama as the family patriarch, Kolade Badhmus, is being pursued by an unknown car. Masked gunmen exit the car, and we transition to a recent memory of Kolade confined to a wheelchair. He doesn't seem to catch a break in any of these seasons, so you can rest assured that it's about to go down. The world seems to cave in on him a little more as he also finds out that his beloved Mayowa isn’t his son during this episode.

• Teni is pregnant, and her oh-so-glamorous mother, Adaora Bhadmus, is already taking her 'glammy' role seriously.

• Usu is also is back at the Bhadmus mansion after going to school in Benin. She does, however, seem to have returned with a bag of troubles.

• Nigerian singer Waje also joins the Battleground cast this season as the fun and feisty Anu Sobowale.
