What do you track when I sign in to the MyDStv app?

When you log in, we will request your email address and password so we can authenticate you as a DStv customer and manage the login process.

Does the MyDStv app track my usage?

You can manage your privacy in the MyDStv app. We collect data to enhance your experience, analyse usage and assist with our marketing efforts. If you would prefer to not be tracked, click, ‘Ask app not to track’ on the Apple Tracking Transparency pop-up. You can also click ‘Reject all cookies’ in the OneTrust pop-up.

Can I buy a decoder and pay it off?

We do have contract offers to help you buy decoders, where payment can be made over a set period of months. Those are however not available for purchase directly from the website. Please contact us for more information on contracts.

Can I select to collect my order instead of getting it delivered?

Yes, add your items in the basket as normal, but when placing your order choose 'Click & Collect' from the delivery options.

Can I reschedule delivery or update address details once the order has been finalised?

It’s not possible to change your delivery address after confirming your order, so please always double check that your address details are correct at checkout.

Can I purchase hardware delivery outside of South Africa?

No. The hardware for purchase on the DStv website is only for delivery (or collection) in South Africa.

Will you offer pre-ordering of stock, or can I only purchase stock that is available?

At the moment, you will only be able to order from available stock.

How do I cancel an order?

Please contact our team to cancel your order. Orders can be cancelled within the first 7 days (before delivery / collection) for a full refund.

Can I make changes to my order?

Although you aren’t able to make a change to your order, orders can be cancelled within 7 days (with a full refund).
