Chef Katlego Mlambo went from his granny’s kitchen in Eldorado Park, to TV screens around the world with his first-ever TV series, Inside Job With Chef Katlego Mlambo, which premiered on The Food Network (DStv Channel 175) in 2021. Now he’s back at the front burner with his new series, Everyday Wow! Chef Katlego is fired up to show us the kind of food he eats and shares at home, presented with flair. It’s a love letter to local ingredients, South African fusion dining, and casual fun in the kitchen. And on the plate, it’s just Wow!

In Everyday Wow!, Chef Katlego is combining South African ingredients and tastes, with the flavours he’s come to love working in international kitchens. So, we have dishes like Warm Aubergine Sushi, Sweet Potato Curry, and Boerie Calzone. There’s plenty on the menu for fish dish lovers, from a Golden Parmesan Fish Bake to Quick Asian Fishcakes and Speedy Spiced Prawn Soup – a must-see for home chefs who want those deep, intense flavours of Asian cooking, but also want something they can put together at home on a weekday night after a long day at work.
And veg and salad lovers get a special section on Chef Katlego’s menu, too, from modern classics like Watermelon and Feta Salad, to Roasted Broccoli with Romesco and Cherry Charred Rice. To finish it all? A tasty treat with Honey Berry Phyllo Smash.
