February begins with a wicked twist as The Oval Season 3 starts on BET (DStv Channel 129). There’s assassination, intrigue, and dialogue to make you blush. Politics has never been so dirty!
On a more innocent note, but just as deadly, Father Brown Season 9 is here with a new season and their dramatic 100th ever episode, titled The Red Death. And finally, we are getting Call The Midwife Season 10, which sees the nuns, doctors, and midwives' step into 1966, a vintage fashion lover’s delight.
And if you watch TV for the stories, you’ll have loads of movies to choose from this month, from the silly to the sublime. There is an emphasis on action with a James Bond Film Festival and more action men on M-Net Movies 3 (DStv Channel 107), and a rare sci-fi film set in South Africa as the Tremors franchise makes its way to Studio Universal’s (DStv Channel 112) Monsters After Dark Festival. Look out for Pearl Thusi and Brandon Auret fighting those Graboids! Plus, there’s more martial arts action on KIX (DStv Channel 114) and light-hearted Valentine’s fun with Love’s Last Resort on Lifetime (DStv Channel 131) and Dumped Me Not on Studio Universal.
