Made in Italy: A delicious journey to the heart of Italian food
Journey to the heart of Italy with the new travel and food show Made in Italy.
If you love discovering where great food comes from, Made in Italy is the perfect Sunday afternoon watch. This beautifully shot new reality docuseries, which premiered on M-Net (DStv Channel 101) on 30 August, takes viewers on a journey through the landscapes, farms and family traditions that inspire Woolworths’ Italian food range.
Each episode explores a different farm or produce category, uncovering the stories behind some of Italy’s most-loved ingredients. From cultivation and harvesting to manufacturing and distribution, Made in Italy offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the people whose passion and expertise bring authentic Italian flavours to tables around the world.
At the heart of every episode is a farmer or family whose personal connection to the land anchors the story. Viewers will discover generations of tradition, dedication and craftsmanship, while also seeing how these ingredients are transformed into dishes that celebrate the warmth and generosity of Italian cuisine.
The journey in each episode ends the way every great food story should: around a communal table, where farmers, families and friends come together to share a hearty meal and celebrate the produce that connects them.
Made in Italy airs on Sundays at 17:15 on M-Net (DStv Channel 101), with new epsiodes until 4 October, and is also available on DStv Catch Up. Tune in for an inspiring feast of food, culture and storytelling before settling in for MasterChef Australia at 18:00.
