Sunday night movies to watch on M-Net this month
Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Jason Statham are just some of the big names on screen on M-Net this month.
Four unmissable films land on M-Net this July, every Sunday night at 8:05PM. From the courtroom tension of the Nuremberg trials to a pulse-pounding Statham thriller, a psychological game of cat and mouse, and a musical true story with serious star power — it's a month of big names, big stories and big-screen drama.
Nuremberg
Rami Malek and Russell Crowe lead this gripping historical drama about the 1945–46 Nuremberg trials. Malek plays US Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, tasked with assessing whether captured Nazi leaders are fit to stand trial, while Crowe is chilling as Hermann Göring, Hitler’s former deputy. Malek won an Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody and Crowe for Gladiator, and their psychological battle of wits anchors this tense, true-story courtroom thriller.

Shelter
Jason Statham, the action star behind The Transporter and Fast & Furious franchise, plays Michael Mason, a former MI6 assassin hiding out on a remote Scottish island. When he rescues a young girl from a storm, his cover is blown and his violent past resurfaces. Bill Nighy, beloved for Love Actually and Living, co-stars as a former handler, adding gravitas to this lean, hard-hitting thriller about protection, guilt and redemption.

The Housemaid
Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried headline this twisty psychological thriller based on Freida McFadden’s bestseller. Sweeney, fresh off Euphoria and Anyone But You, plays Millie, an ex-convict hired as a live-in maid for wealthy housewife Nina (Seyfried, of Mamma Mia! and Mean Girls). What starts as a fresh start spirals into a dangerous game of secrets, scandal and shocking twists between the two women that keeps audiences guessing until the end.

Jackman, Wolverine himself and a Tony winner, and Hudson, known for Almost Famous and Glass Onion, bring real vocal performances to this heartfelt tale of love, music, sobriety and tragedy that earned Hudson an Oscar nomination.
