1. Wat is Kokkedoor?

Kokkedoor is kykNET se wenformaat waar ons op soek is na die perfekte kombinasie van onthoukok en kinkelkok om Suid-Afrikaanse onthoukos die toekoms in te neem.  Dit gaan oor daardie perfekte kombinasie van vernuwing en onthou, van oud en nuut, van nostalgie en die onbekende.

2. Hoe oud moet ek wees om deel te neem?

Ten minste 18 jaar oud op die dag van die oudisie.

3. Kan enigiemand inskryf?

Ja, enigiemand ouer as 18 wat ’n Suid-Afrikaanse of Namibiese burger is met ’n id-dokument.

4. Kan ons as ’n paar of span inskryf?

Nee.

5. Waar word die oudisies gehou?

Oudisies sal in Kaapstad gehou word gedurende die week van 21 Julie to 13 Julie 2026.

6. Hoe skryf ek in?

Kry die inskryfvorm hier of stuur ‘n e-pos aan navrae@kokkedoor.tv  en ‘n inskryfvorm sal aan jou gestuur word. Stuur dan die voltooide inskryfvorm met jou antwoorde en foto vir ons. Ons verkies dat jy die vorm en foto inskandeer en terug e-pos na navrae@kokkedoor.tv – daar is ook ‘n pos-adres, maar pos-aflewering is nie betroubaar nie, en ons inskrywings het ‘n afsnydatum van 12 Julie 2026.

7. Hoe werk die keuringsproses?

Die beoordelaars kies finaliste uit die inskrywings wat ontvang is. Nadat dié “papier”-keuring gedoen is, sal ‘n zoom-onderhoud met ‘n eerste rondte finaliste gedoen word. Uit die zoom-onderhoude word die finale “warm”-oudisie groep gekies. Hierdie groep sal na Kaapstad toe kom vir ‘n laaste “warm” oudisie, en op grond daarvan sal jy afgekeur word of deurgaan tot die finale rondte in Struisbaai.

8. Hoe lank is die Kaapstad finale oudisies?

Maak jouself maar reg vir die hele dag aangesien mens nie kan voorspel wat gaan gebeur nie. Deelnemers moet ook bereid wees om weer terug te kom vir meer vrae, as dit van hulle verwag word.

9. Hoe word die finale deelnemers gekies?

Wanneer ons die deelnemers kies is die vlg baie belangrik: hulle talent en vernuf in die kombuis, entoesiasme, dryfkrag, liefde vir kos en absolute passie vir nostalgiese onthoukos! Die beoordelaars en vervaardigers se keuse is finaal.

11. Kan ek inskryf al het ek al kook-kursusse gedoen?

Daar is geen beperkings nie – al het jy hoeveel ondervinding, of nie, ons gaan tradisionele kokke kies en ervare, kreatiewe sjefs, om die deelnemers te wees. So: almal kan inskryf – los dit vir ons om te kies wie gaan deur!

12. Wie moet inskryf vir Kokkedoor?

Enigiemand wat dink hy of sy kan goeie onthoukos kook, of kreatief met kos omgaan, moet inskryf.  Maak ook nie saak of jy baie of min of geen opleiding of ondervinding het nie.

13. Kan ek per e-pos ook inskryf?

Geen probleem, stuur alle inskryfvorms aan navrae@kokkedoor.tv en enige vrae kan gerig word aan navrae@kokkedoor.tv

14. Hoe lank gaan ek uit die werk en van die huis af wees?

Oudisies gebeur die week van 21 – 23 Julie 2026 in Kaapstad, Suid-Afrika – afhangende van belangstelling mag daar dalk meer plekke vir oudisies wees.  So – een van daardie dae gaan jy moet deel wees van die oudisie-proses as jou inskrywingsvorm die eerste keuringsproses geslaag het.  As jy dan as ‘n Kokkedoor-finalis aangewys word, gaan jy vanaf 12 Augustus tot 5 September 2026 in Kaapstad / Struisbaai beskikbaar moet wees (dis nou as jy een van die finale twee spanne is in die finaal – spanne val uit soos die reeks aangaan, maar daar mag ook van deelnemers wat uitgeval het, verwag word om terug te keer binne die produksieperiode om weer te skiet aan nuwe inhoud wat bydrae tot die kompetisie).

15. Moet ek al die resepte uit my kop uit ken en kan maak?

Dit sal baie indrukwekkend wees, maar jy kan jou staatmaker boeke vol resepte saambring – geen probleem!

16. Wanneer sal ek weet of ek deur is na die oudisierondtes?

Met die ontvangs van jou inskrywing sal jy ‘n regstrasienommer terug ontvang – dis vir enige navrae later.  Indien jy niks van ons hoor teen Dinsdag 14 Julie 2026, was jou inskrywing ongelukkig nie suksesvol nie.

Terms & Conditions

1. MULTICHOICE and Homebrew Films, and their staff, directors and affiliated companies are the “Producers” of the “Kokkedoor ” televised reality contest which is subject to these terms and conditions.
2. To participate, you must be 18 years of age or more on the date of the audition of entry and a South African citizen. You will be required to provide a valid identity document.  
3. You must not have a criminal record.
4. You will audition for a panel of judges whose decision as to whether or not you can proceed to the next round of auditions is final. No review requests and no deliberations may be entered into regarding judges' decisions. 
5. YOU CONSENT TO THE PRODUCERS MAKING A FIXATION OF YOUR APPEARANCE AND PERFORMANCE IN THE MASS AUDITIONS (“PERFORMANCES”), AS WELL AS ANY OTHER IMAGES AND/OR SOUNDS FEATURING YOU, IN ANY MEDIA (FOR EXAMPLE, TELEVISION, FILM, PHOTOGRAPH, VIDEO TAPE, ETC) IN WHICH THE PERFORMANCES HAVE BEEN WHOLLY OR PARTLY RECORDED OR CAPTURED, INCLUDING ANY REPRODUCTION OR ADAPTATION THEREOF, AND THE BROADCAST THEREOF, AS SUCH TERMS ARE UNDERSTOOD IN TERMS OF THE PERFORMERS’ PROTECTION ACT 11 OF 1967 (AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME), FOR THE PURPOSES OF KOKKEDOOR, THE PROMOTION THEREOF AND THE PROMOTION OF KOKKEDOOR FOR THE PERIOD OF 18 MONTHS FROM THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE AUDITION PROCESS OF THE SHOW.
6. YOU AGREE THAT THE PRODUCERS SHALL HAVE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO USE, EXPLOIT, PUBLISH, REPRODUCE, PERFORM OR OTHERWISE DEAL WITH ALL MATERIAL FEATURING THE PERFORMANCES FOR OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MARKETING, PROMOTION, DISTRIBUTION, PRODUCTION AND SALES OF KOKKEDOOR, IN PERPETUITY AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
7. You waive any moral rights that you may have to the Performances and any broadcasts thereof.
8. The Producers are under no obligation to use or broadcast the whole or any part of your Performances in Kokkedoor.
9. The Producers may alter, adapt, make additions to or otherwise edit the Performances at their discretion.
10. You will not be entitled to any payment or involvement whatsoever in respect of your participation or your Performances or the broadcast thereof or the exploitation thereof.
11. To the extent necessary, you hereby assign, transfer and make over all your right, title and interest in and to the Performances to the Producers, free of charge.
12. Kokkedoor runs from 12 August to 5 September 2026 and you must be available over that entire period.
13. You will be required to appear at public venues and participate in activation events as decided by the Producers.
14. Your behaviour has to always be impeccable at any stage of Kokkedoor. Any bad behaviour will be deemed grounds for your disqualification.
15. Auditions will commence at 08:00 and continue until the limited number of contestants have done their auditions. Multichoice, Homebrew Films and all Kokkedoor associates will not be liable for any extra travel and accommodation costs incurred by participants
16. You must be prepared to relocate, should you go through to the next round, for a period of 3 weeks from 12 August 2026 to 5 September 2026, where you will be required to live in the accommodation provided for you by the Producers. 
17. You may not be given any free time or leave to be absent from such accommodation during this period. Should you not comply with these requirements, the Producers shall be entitled to disqualify you. 
18. You may elect to withdraw from Kokkedoor at any time. Such withdrawal will lead to your immediate disqualification. You will not be allowed back onto the series.
19. YOU ABSOLVE THE PRODUCERS AND THEIR AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AS WELL AS ANY PERFORMERS OR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS APPOINTED BY THE PRODUCERS, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL DEMANDS AND CLAIMS OF EVERY NATURE AND KIND ARISING FROM THE PERFORMANCES AND WAIVE ANY CLAIMS WHICH YOU MIGHT HAVE, OF WHATEVER NATURE, AGAINST THE PRODUCERS AND/OR THEIR AGENTS, ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN KOKKEDOOR.
20. NONE OF THE PRODUCERS NOR THEIR RESPECTIVE ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, MEDIA AND PR AGENCIES, SHALL BE LIABLE TO YOU IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY LOSS, EXPENSE, DAMAGE, COSTS OR INJURY SUSTAINED BY YOU DURING OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PERFORMANCE OR IN RELATION TO KOKKEDOOR OR THE PRIZES OFFERED. 
21. You warrant that you have the capacity to agree to these terms and conditions and further that you are at complete liberty to participate in Kokkedoor and to comply with these terms and conditions and that doing so will not infringe upon the rights of any other person. You further warrant that the information you have provided to the Producers is true and accurate. The Producers may disqualify you should you breach the aforesaid warranties.
22. By participating in Kokkedoor you accept and agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions set out herein and such rules and conditions that the Producers may issue in relation to the Audition Phase and further phases of Kokkedoor from time to time.
23. These terms and conditions are governed by South African law and the South African courts shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all matters (including disputes) arising herefrom.
