Uthando Nes’thembu

Mzansi’s favourite polygamic family, the Mselekus, are back. The new season comes after the bombshell revelations from the show’s special, #Uncut: Uthando Nes’thembu, which took viewers behind the scenes for some exclusive, never-before-seen footage. Season 9 kicks off with tensions running high, as the #Uncut episodes brought viewers closer to the breakdown that started within the family, and now we’re seeing the aftermath. The wives, MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe and MaKhumalo continue to deal with their different challenges, with some still not happy that Musa brought MaKhwela, also known as Number 5, into the family.

The Braxtons

The Braxtons marks an emotionally raw and intimate reunion of the Braxton family, seven-time Grammy winner Toni, four-time Grammy nominee Tamar, Towanda, Trina, and Ms Evelyn, as they come together two years after Traci’s passing to honour her final wish: that the sisters stay close. A spin-off from the fan-favourite Braxton Family Values, the series was up for a 2025 NAMIC Vision Award in the Reality category, with Collider calling it “an emotionally raw new chapter.”

Presented by Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond, with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith testing the contestants’ baking skills, this season sees increasingly challenging rounds: the Signature, Technical and Showstopper stages. With each passing week, a baker is eliminated until only one remains. But who will be crowned the ultimate Bake Off champion?
