Each router is slightly different, and you would need to be connected to one of the router’s WiFi networks (2,4Ghz or 5Ghz), to do this. If you would like support, please contact us directly.
Do I have to buy a router from you / Can I buy a SIM only package?
If you already have an approved router, there is no need to take one from us. You can buy a SIM only package too, however you will need a FLTE router to use this service.

What happens if my router goes faulty while under warranty?
You can take your DStv Router to any of our service centres or agencies for testing and if necessary, they will replace the unit.
What warranty do I get on hardware included with DStv Internet?
The ONT (Optical Network Terminal) and DStv Router carry a 12-month warranty from date of purchase.
How many users can connect to my router?
It’s important to note that the number of users will impact your internet performance and speed. Our routers allow for up to 64 devices to be connected at any one time.
