In this series of four themed specials, George Clarke looks at the extraordinary ways in which people make use of small spaces, focusing on treehouses, caravans, wilderness lodges and garden retreats.  Featuring footage from the first five seasons of the Amazing Spaces series, and with newly shot pieces George re-examines the exciting and innovative ways in which people have utilized small spaces.

Described by Sir Terry Farrell as ‘The Great Architectural Communicator’, George Clarke is a British architect, television presenter, lecturer and writer. He is the founder and chairman of the educational charity The Ministry of Building, Innovation + Education (MOBIE), which was formed to inspire young people, through innovation and advanced creative thinking into the architecture, design and building industry by creating homes for the 21st century. George believes that architecture, art and design should be accessible to everyone and has the power to transform and enrich lives, while challenging the notion that great art and design belong only to a few.

Home is the most powerful form of architecture that affects us all, and if you are lucky enough to have a warm and comfortable roof over your head, it is a very special place indeed.
