Day 26 – 18 Aug: Wager win laced with coin drama – BBNaija

News
18 August 2023
It's a sweet victory for the All Stars but not all get to reap the rewards.
Frodd and Alex

The All Stars have won their wager for the week, a result that Biggie awarded them in recognition of their hard work towards introducing a new currency with seven denominations named the Styra, which they acted out in a scripted drama. The housemates erupted in cheers and applause, relieved that their hard work had paid off - but as they celebrated their victory, Biggie shocked them with the revelation that only Adekunle, Frodd, Seyi, and Whitemoney would get coins that were not staked as a reward for partaking fully in the morning workout sessions.

Earlier in the week, the housemates were given the challenge to create a new currency and present it in the form they thought fit to sell it for financial use. The chosen route of execution to introduce the new currency was a scripted performance that involved a central bank governor leading a meeting to assess possible currencies suitable for business to be adopted within his nation. While Venita got special accolades for her design skills, Biggie had a few questions for the housemates about some unstated elements of their new currency.

Biggie questioned the All Stars why they didn't present realistic reasons to explain the strength of the Styra, and other aspects relating to its interest rates, as well as the economic benefits of adopting this new currency. "How do you intend to battle inflation?" Biggie asked as he pointed out the flaws in their delivery.

One thing that is guaranteed is that the food fights will come to an end, but we are not sure how the housemates who did not get their coins will adjust to having fewer purse amounts. It remains to be seen how they will navigate these changes and whether they will be able to effectively manage their finances with fewer coins in their possession.
