Two beds vacated, one ship scattered, and a slew of secret rivalries blown open.
Ebuka Live Show 2

Ebuka made yet another statement entrance at Sunday night’s Live Show, stepping out in a vintage blue oversized suit paired with a fedora. The look was inspired by pop culture icon Chinedu Ikedieze – one half of the legendary Aki and Pawpaw duo, a Nollywood veteran, comedian, and global meme royalty.

Fitting, considering the night’s heavy task. This wasn’t just any Sunday; it marked Season 10’s first real eviction after last week’s fake-out nominations. And in true 10/10 fashion, not one but two beds became available as two housemates reached the end of their BBNaija journey.

Sadly, Danboskid and Ibifubara’s journeys were iced. And while gasps could be heard and shock was visible during each of their 10 seconds, the two left the house with newfound fame and a place in the show's iconic history. It’s Nollywood for Danboskid, who has set his sights on becoming a famed thespian, and it’s onwards and upwards for Ibifubara.

Certainly, both leave with suitcases and – this is the sweet part of the bitter – fanbases.

But before the shocking double exit, the host recapped the week’s most competitive, chaotic, and explosive moments – from dramatic fallouts to unexpected kissing sprees. It all began last Sunday when Thelma Lawson snagged the Head of House crown right after the Live Show. Her reign revealed a more assertive side as she swiftly formed a “new government” and tackled house matters with alpha-level authority. But her tenure was short-lived; Victory swooped in on Monday to claim the HoH title.

Rooboy, meanwhile, emerged as the week’s Most Influential Housemate, voted for by his peers after a week of hilarious Diary Sessions, epic pranks, and hypeman energy that’s kept the house buzzing.

The drama wasn’t far behind. Bread-gate hit the house when a missing loaf sparked finger-pointing. Kaybobo accused Mensan of the theft, which turned out to be false, leading to an explosive confrontation. Thelma Lawson didn’t hold back during Ebuka’s interrogation, accusing Isabella of not being a “brother’s keeper” for fanning the flames.

Then came eviction time. First to go was Danboskid, the season’s inaugural evictee. His exit was met with gasps from the house, and he had just 10 seconds for goodbyes before heading to the Live Show stage. While still in disbelief, he teased his next move — a Nollywood takeover — and confirmed his plans to continue his relationship with Zita outside the house.

Ebuka kept the pot stirring, turning to Sultana to address her opinions about Dede. She kept it diplomatic, acknowledging their differences. Doris, on the other hand, admitted she didn’t initially like Mide but now found her cool, even confessing she’s picked up Mide’s signature loud laugh-scream.

The second eviction of the night saw Ibifubara leave the house. Her final moments revealed a bittersweet truth about her reflections on her last week: “This week has been a little lonely for me.” She felt she’d been giving more in her friendships than she was receiving.

Closing the night, Ebuka reminded the remaining housemates that only those bringing their absolute A-game would survive the 10/10 house. He even faked out a third eviction announcement, sending the housemate into momentary panic before revealing they were all safe, at least until next week’s showdown.
