This time, the spotlight fell on Cross and Venita, two housemates who clashed in an explosive argument during their preparations for the upcoming wager challenge. As the housemates dove into sports-themed preparations, miscommunication led to a fiery exchange that left everyone stunned.

Igniting the the spark
Earlier, Venita had asked to be excused from rehearsals in order to take her medication, and HoH Cross allowed it, telling her she was "free to leave". Later on, Cross found her showering, which he took exception to because that hadn't been part of their agreement. When he confronted Venita about her actions, a heated war of words ensued. Cross decried the housemates' lack of cooperation and lackadaisical attitude towards the task and told Venita "I said you were free to take your medication, not take a shower," prompting Venita to defend herself against the perceived slight.
Venita voiced out her disappointment that Cross would think she would dodge putting in work for any task because she had shown up to all the meetings she needed to be in. She dug in her heels and told Cross she had been involved in the sport-themed wager preparations and hadn't slacked one bit.
As miscommunication fanned the flames, the exchange grew increasingly intense, with Venita hurling curses at Cross in her frustration. In the heat of the moment, she even made a rather colourful threat, declaring that she would "shade his face like a coloring book."
Intervention
Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed as Alex and Whitemoney stepped in to calm Cross down. Adekunle also intervened, scooping Venita into his arms, and carried her to the bedroom. Venita expressed her genuine offense at the situation in a conversation with Adekunle, telling him: "Stop this thing, I am genuinely offended." Later on, as Adekunle tried to catch some shut-eye while in bed with Venita, she raised the matter again, voicing out her disappointment with Cross.
