This week’s Diary Room sessions went beyond mere nominations; they peeled back the layers, exposing raw emotions, quiet alliances, and unexpected truths. Biggie asked the tough questions, sprinkled in his signature wit, and what we got was nothing short of reality TV gold.
Dede – Here for realness, not hugs
Dede might be soft-spoken, but she’s not here to play games. After recovering from some stomach issues (which kept her more in the toilet than the lounge, as Biggie hilariously pointed out), Dede opened up about her social discomfort. She questioned if she had social anxiety and shared how four guys tried to hug her and were upset when she declined, a choice that has painted her as “mean. With the girls, she’s more relaxed, although some “weird things” have been said. Her biggest struggle? "The kitchen people are starving me,” she declared, demanding that her consumer rights be respected. She admitted Jason Jae makes her smile and that she’s grown close to Mide. Despite all that, the looming nominations have her scared but hopeful. Her noms? Isabella and Kaybobo, for giving bad vibes and skipping food duty.
Kayikunmi - mister observant and intentionally detached
Always calm and composed, Kayikunmi’s diary session was a masterclass in strategic observation. He’s not here to make friends, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t watching everyone. From being surprised at Isabella’s emotional side to being impressed by Sabrina and Big Soso, he’s keeping tabs on all the personalities. He described Mide’s “explosion” during a task prep session and believes she was unfairly singled out by HoH Jason Jae. While he understands the group nomination twist, he feels some people were nominated based on friendships. His own choices? Dede, for being unpredictable, and Tracy, for making her lack of connection too obvious.
Isabella - misunderstood and unapologetically herself
Isabella came into the Diary Room frustrated and overwhelmed. She’s not used to living with so many people, and the chaos is starting to get to her. She feels misunderstood and labelled “troublesome” unfairly. She called out Otega over the kitchen saga, refusing to be boxed into a group-cooking dynamic. And as for relationships in the house? She spoke about a certain someone wanting to be everywhere during the day, only to seek cuddles at night, a situation that brings back unwanted memories. “Trouble finds me, but I’m not troublesome,” she clarified. Iconic.
Kola - The fashionable philosopher
Kola came in buzzing with gratitude and energy. He called the experience a dream come true, though one that has pushed him far outside his comfort zone. He’s connected with Sabrina, Doris, Otega, and Kaybobo and has embraced his social butterfly status. He reflected on conflicts, especially one involving Mensan, and showed a mature, forgiving approach. He said Doris is brilliant and believes Mensan lives for drama. Post-nomination show, Kola crowned himself the “main character” after slaying his outfit. His picks for nomination? Koyin, for lack of connection. Biggie, as always, delivered the comedic relief: “After all, we don’t want your tears to smear your lip balm.”
Ivatar – Calm but attacked
Despite losing her voice, Ivatar was in high spirits. She admitted she missed a task meeting but is confident her team will win the wager. She's vibing with the house’s energy, but stands firm; if she doesn’t like something, she says it. Ivatar shared a strong connection with Mensan, saying his stories resonated with her. She’s also grown fond of Faith (“cute, small guy”) and had some critiques for Otega’s bossy HoH energy. About the full-house nomination? She's all for it: “Let the viewers be in control.”
Danboskid – Sensitive soul, strategic mind
Danboskid’s session was unexpectedly touching. He revealed he almost cried when he saw a queue for the bathroom, setbacks hit him deeply. However, he’s growing stronger and more adaptable. He admitted to misjudging Kuture and is trying to see the best in people. He has bonded with Gigi Jasmine through shared wardrobe moments and has also noticed her emotional moments. He nominated Kuture for seeming isolated, and Isabella, who he says puts up a tough front.
Joanna – Late shoes and loud impressions
Joanna kicked things off with a cheeky Biggie moment, introducing herself instead of the shoes she took too long to wear. Biggie noticed. She praised Thelma Wilson's heart and called Gigi Jasmine “sweet” despite a rocky start. She gave HoH Jason Jae an 8.5/10 rating and was clearly still shook from Biggie’s nomination twist. Before she left, Biggie served her a stern warning to never keep him waiting again.
Koyin – All class, all good
Koyin felt on top of the world, and his energy was at 100%. He had been eating well, and everything seemed to be going smoothly, including being pleasantly surprised by Big Soso's care and motivation and he thought the Head of House, Jason Jae, had been doing a good job.
Mide – Unexpected challenges, finding her flow
Mide was finding her balance in the house despite the experience being much harder than expected, giving her a newfound respect for former housemates as she navigated sharing space with diverse personalities. Her biggest surprise was Rooboy, whose hyper entrance completely contrasted with their cool friendship. Mide also recounted a surprising altercation with Doris, which, despite being resolved, left her pondering how quickly a fight could erupt out of the blue in Biggie's house.
Kuture – Cliques, confrontations, and comfort
Kuture was surprised by the stage's energy and Ebuka's presence when he entered the house, but quickly found himself navigating social complexities. He had a tense argument with Isabella while trying to explain himself, and later found comfort in Big Soso, who adopted him as her "son." Kuture quickly identified those he could trust, singling out HOH Jason Jae, but felt Otega was "doing too much" by oversharing. He also observed Dede acting like "the prettiest hun" who doesn't like people. Despite the drama, Kuture remained introspective, even confiding in Otega about not feeling well, and sees his unexpected entry into the house as a divine experience for his life story.
Zita – Observing the drama
Zita was feeling fine but found herself observing housemates "doing too much" and fighting over "unnecessary things." Grateful for Danboskid's friendship, she preferred to wait for people to show their true selves, suspecting Mensan, Sabrina, and Isabella were "acting." Despite her composure, she admitted to crying in the bathroom, missing her loved ones from outside the house.
Otega – Directing drama, dodging fakes
Otega was feeling better after a stressful week, including kitchen drama where housemates resisted his leadership. He felt Kuture surprised him negatively after an awkward dinner, but Zita found him surprisingly fun. The mass nomination reminded him of the game's competitive nature, leading him to nominate Imisi and Mensan for being "fake."
Final Thoughts
This week’s Diary Room sessions gave us a full buffet of human emotion – comedy, conflict, confession, and pure chaos. With the entire house up for nomination, everyone’s on edge. But in the midst of it, personalities are being revealed, bonds are forming, and the game is getting deeper.
The masks are slipping, and the stars aren’t the only ones watching; so are we.
