Housemates walked into a more zen Arena today for the first Arena Games draped in white robes. The ambience was ensuring that the Games were peaceful, but they took the Housemates' peace away as they attempted to go through all four Games.
For the first Game, Housemates had to assemble a rock tower that was depicted on an image next to it. Eloswag and Bella breezed through this assembly, but somehow, Modella could not get past the first Game. Housemates had eight minutes to get through all four Games, and Modella used up all her eight minutes trying to replicate the tower.
The second Game was 'over the pool', and Housemates had to use all-fours to go through the pool using the ladder. Phyna walked on the ladder using her feet and had to walk back two more times until she eventually got it right. This is after her stone tower collapsed when she had almost completed it.
The third part of the Arena Games was the beast that a lot of Housemates struggled to tame. Bella was the first Housemate that managed to get 12 out of 15 words right. Her bae Sheggz managed to get through the puzzle and to the middle of the fourth Game, but the buzzer went off before he could finish. A few spelling errors were spotted during the Games, but some Housemates seemed to have missed them.
Adekunle was the first Housemate to complete the puzzle accurately and go through to the fourth Game which he completed successfully. For the fourth Game, Housemates had to slide through the slipper slide using their buttocks and feet only. Deji also made it past the puzzle and onto the slipper slide, and the buzzer went off just when he was about to finish and he was the winner of the Arena Games.
Housemates were not allowed to run like in their usual Tasks, but since this was a Game of speed, it was tough not to. Amaka had to turn back because she ran after climbing past the pool. Some Housemates were marching like soldiers, while others with long legs like Dotun and Hermes were lifting them like never before to get to the finish line.
