MaishaMagicPlus - Meet the Ka-Siri characters

Ka-Siri means "little secrets", and the show is full of them. The most shocking one was when Makena recently discovered that her husband, Zula, had another family.

Here are the characters that bring this story to life:

ZULA

He is a very successful and bold businessman. He has two wives, Makena, whom he married publicly, and Amber, whom he later married privately. He has three children: Wanja from his first marriage and Taji and Kimberly from his second marriage. He is a very secretive man, and after his untimely death, his family is trapped and entangled deep in the web of his secrets and unfinished businesses.

MAKENA

Zula’s known first wife and Wanja's mother. She is meticulous,

obsessive and a control freak. She grew up in the ghetto and learned to oppress others in order to not be oppressed. She escaped the slums to evade the hardships at home, and her gangster sister Kanambo.

She married Zula and settled down to be a housewife, and Alex, the family lawyer is her lover.

AMBER

She is Zula’s second wife and Taji and Kimberly's mother. She was only recognized after Zula’s death, and nothing will stop her from claiming a portion of her husband’s fortune to safeguard her children’s future. She's ambitious, fierce and a career-oriented woman who doesn't leave anything to chance.

WANJA

She’s Zula and Makena’s daughter and Amber’s stepdaughter. She is also Ng’ash’s girlfriend. Wanja lives in misery because she believes she is not the kind of daughter Zula wanted. Her mother Makena is highly opposed to her love relationship with Ng’ash.

ALEX

He is a charming and charismatic lawyer who owns a successful law firm in the city. He is Zula's lawyer and was entrusted with his last will and testament. Despite being in a relationship with Patricia, he is Makena's lover. The two devise a plan to acquire Zula's properties after his death.

DORA

She has been Zula’s lifetime housekeeper, but she has never revealed that she is his biological mother. He abandoned Zula as an infant due to financial constraints. However, tables are turned when everyone discovers that she’s the sole heir to Zula’s fortune, which leaves her wondering if he knew she was his mother.

TAJI

He’s Zula’s and Amber’s firstborn son, Kimberley’s brother and Wanja’s stepbrother. He is well-mannered and kindhearted. He’s Dora’s favourite grandson and has feelings for Alex’s girlfriend Patricia.

KANAMBO

She is Makena’s biological sister, Wanja’s auntie and has strong feelings for Wanja’s boyfriend, Ng’ash. She is a member of a gang in her neighbourhood and feels entitled to Makena’s successful life. She masterminded the raid at Zula’s mansion which resulted in his death.

NG'ASH

Ng'ash is Wanja's boyfriend and has a crush on Shiks, who happens to be Wanja's sister. He was part of the gang that raided his girlfriend's house, and her father ended up being fatally shot. This internal conflict adds depth to his character and will keep you engaged with the storyline.
